Sierra Stein LMHC-D
Welcome! I’m Sierra Stein, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist supporting individuals in creating meaningful, lasting change.
Through my experience working in private practice, schools, and community mental health settings, I’ve seen how differently people experience stress, relationships, and emotional pain. Our responses are shaped by context, relationships, history, and the environments we’ve had to adapt to. This perspective has shaped my approach as a therapist: curious, flexible, and attuned to the individuality of each person I work with.
I work with adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional regulation difficulties. Many of the people I work with are already insightful and self-aware, but still feel stuck in patterns that insight alone hasn’t been able to shift, often feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
I value creating a therapy space that feels collaborative and relational. Together, we’ll explore what’s been keeping you stuck and help you feel more steady, confident, and connected to yourself.
My Approach
In session, I’m actively engaged with you in the process, noticing not just what you’re sharing, but how it’s being expressed in the moment. I pay attention to patterns as they show up in emotions, relationships, and even within the therapeutic space itself.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and systems-aware. This means I consider both your internal experience and the broader context that has shaped it—your relationships, history, and nervous system responses. I work integratively, drawing from EMDR, DBT, IFS, somatic approaches,TF-CBT, AEDP, and mindfulness. Rather than adhering to a single framework, I use what is most effective for your needs in the moment.
At its core, therapy with me is about helping you build greater awareness, deepen your connection to yourself, and develop an improved sense of wellbeing.

ABOUT ME
When I'm not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me on a walk, painting, having a sweet treat, or adding another book to my shelf that I swear I’ll read one day! I truly value time outdoors, staying active, and soaking up good moments with friends.
