Individual 1:1 Therapy Session

In individual therapy, we’ll work together to explore the challenges you’re facing—whether they stem from trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, mood shifts, or life transitions. My role is to provide a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe being vulnerable, curious, and fully present with yourself.

Our initial sessions will focus on building trust, identifying your goals, and understanding what matters most to you. As our work deepens, we’ll explore the subconscious patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences that shape how you move through the world.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I move at a pace that feels right for you, always centering your sense of safety and agency. I view healing as a full-body, whole-person experience—one that honors your emotions, your story, and your inner wisdom.

EMDR Therapy Session

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a well-researched and highly effective treatment method for trauma and PTSD. It has been shown to help individuals recover from the emotional and psychological impact of distressing experiences. Additionally, research continues to show that EMDR is beneficial not only for trauma and PTSD, but also for a range of other conditions, including anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other challenging life experiences (Maxfield, 2019).

EMDR involves a structured process where the client briefly focuses on a traumatic memory while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation (often through guided eye movements). This process helps reduce the intensity and emotional charge associated with the memory, allowing for greater emotional relief.

What sets EMDR apart is that it doesn’t require detailed verbal processing of the trauma or homework between sessions. Instead of focusing on changing thoughts, emotions, or behaviors, EMDR helps the brain naturally process and heal from past distress, allowing for lasting relief.
